The snow has arrived so get out there and enjoy it! Don't forget that wet boots need time to dry. Find a warm dry space in your home and allow boots to dry for hours. Use a cloth or towel to remove access moisture from inside the boot. Mold and mildew can form if boots remain wet for too long. Now is a good time to pull out spares and alternate use - if not take the time to care for your footwear.

Organizing Tip - Using sturdy plastic bins place winter hats, gloves, and scarves into bins for quick and easy access. In our house we label our bins by individual, i.e. Mommy and place on the top shelf of front hall closet. For the smaller members of the house we place their bins in an easy to reach location. This way all members of the house are encouraged to be neat and tidy.
