I found this little store while living in Norval/Brampton. I am a VERY picky person when it comes to clothing and when I stumbled upon JV Clothing while in Georgetown (Waiting for an oil change from a nearby mechanic shop) I was shocked! A men's clothing store? Nope. A men's clothing boutique that would fit in on Hazelton lanes or the Bougie Queen West fashion district? Absolutely! Incredibly modern fashionable shirts, pants, jackets, sweaters, shoes, suits, ties, and even HATS in Georgetown! In that visit I only bought a couple of items but was very impressed with their selection and the service I received.
A year or so later, when it was wardrobe update time, I went in and found everything I was looking for and much more. It wasn't just the inventory I was impressed with. The staff are super nice and friendly and always willing to help. I didn't know my neck size anymore so they measured me up and helped me pick out the proper sized dress shirts.
I then looked for some fashionable hats (Shaved heads need protection after all) but couldn't find any in the style I wanted. The person assisting me asked to see a picture of the kind of hat I was looking for and took my name and number down. 2 weeks later? She calls me to tell me my hats are in, in several color choices I requested, and she had set them aside for me to come pick up! You don't get that kind of service in posh boutique stores downtown anymore, let alone from a store in a small town like Georgetown!
I moved into Toronto recently BUT when the store re-opens for in store shopping and I am ready to update my wardrobe I know EXACTLY where I will be driving. JV Clothing is an amazing experience. If you're looking for real quality clothing and exceptional service, I highly recommend JV!
John always takes excellent care of his customers. His attention to detail when fitting a customer is second to none. He carries high quality men’s clothing and makes an effort to source Canadian made items, which I appreciate as I prefer to buy Canadian whenever possible. I would highly recommend shopping here for business attire.
